Can You Solve the Mystery?

Enter the world of Jo Hammet, a 5th grade gumshoe who's hot on a case. While visiting the museum on a field trip, she uncovers a sinister plot to destroy all of the city's factories! Her mission is to find clues leading to the capture of the mad genius Dr. X. Armed with her wits and her skateboard, Jo plays curriculum-building games while dodging Dr. X's goons and searching for clues to unravel the mystery.

Whole Number Math. Many of Dr. X's secrets are locked behind special doors. To decipher the codes, solve math problems which include complex multiplication and long division with remainders.

Geography. Learn about world geography by manipulating a huge rotating globe in the museum, then test your knowledge by completing challenging crossword puzzles.

Language Arts. Dr. X's henchmen can provide information that will help solve the case. Use special glasses to read their thoughts, then fill in the correct nouns, verbs, and adjectives to complete the paragraph.

Science & Decimals. To defuse the bombs that threaten the city, manipulate the circuit switch boxes to obtain the correct voltage number. Look out for the probes that will zap you.

Fractions. Join Jo in the Juice Bar. Learn complex fractions with varied numerators and denominators while mixing grade-school beverage concoctions.

Art History. Visit the Hooverville Arts and History Museum, where you can wander around and view over 70 historic and contemporary works of art. Be sure to talk with everyone you encounter - there's no telling who might hold vital information or clues about Dr. X's plot.

History. Venture deep into the mine shaft, where Jo must dodge giant boulders and ride in mine cars to discover artifacts from U.S. and Native American history.
